Inside Our First Nocoly HAP Training Camp in Kuala Lumpur

Nocoly HAP Training Camp, Kuala Lumpur, 10 September 2026

Last Thursday, 10 September, we ran our first Nocoly HAP Training Camp in Kuala Lumpur. Partners and customers spent a full day at Common Ground Q Sentral, opened their laptops, and built the same thing: a working IT helpdesk ticketing system, from scratch, with no code.

We chose an IT helpdesk on purpose. Almost every organisation in the room already runs one, usually stitched together from email, a spreadsheet, and someone’s memory. It is a problem people recognise immediately, and it touches nearly every part of the platform on the way to a solution.

What the room built

The day moved in the order you would actually build an app.

Participants started with the data model: worksheets, fields, and the business rules that keep records honest before anyone gets a chance to enter something odd. From there they shaped how the data is read, building views for different roles, charts for the people who only want the summary, and custom pages to pull it together.

Then came the part most teams underestimate. Roles and permissions decide whether an internal tool can safely leave the team that built it, so every participant set up who sees what, and who is allowed to change it.

With the foundation in place, the app started to run itself. Workflows handled auto-assignment of incoming tickets, approval steps for the ones that need a manager, and the reopen and close paths that real support work always needs.

The last stretch was the AI layer. Participants added an Agent node that drafts a reply from the organisation’s own knowledge base, then put a chatbot in front of end users so a routine question never has to become a ticket at all.

The moment it lands

Hands-on building, seen from the back of the room

The best part was watching the room go quiet as people realised the app they had just built was something they could put to work the very next day.

That is the whole argument for no-code, and it is much easier to feel than to explain. A full day of hands-on building does it better than any deck we could write.

Thank you to everyone who joined, and to our Malaysia partners for making it happen. More camps are coming.
